“Bubblers and Parking Ramps — The Distinctive English of the Upper Midwest”
We presented our first ever Austin Badger of the Year, to Austin Badger, Professor
George Dix from the UT Law School.
Dinner featured the world famous County Line Barbecue featuring brisket, sausage,
chicken, potato salad, cole slaw and beans.
Attendance was around 80 people, up from 60 last year. Check out the pictures below.

Dinner at 7:00 p.m.
About Founder's Day:
Since 1924, the Wisconsin Alumni Association has hosted Founders’ Day celebrations in
honor of UW-Madison’s beginnings and first official class, held 161 years ago. Founder's
Day 2011 was extra special as it marked the 150th Anniversary of the Wisconsin Alumni
Association (WAA), so we put together an extra special program to commemorate.
