Scholarships
One of our Club's primary charters is to raise money to give to UW
students who hail from the Austin area. Our club raises money
primarily through donations, our annual Brat Fest event, and our
annual Founder's Day Event. It is very important for our Club to
be able to help assist Austin area UW students, and we encourage
you to help us by donating.

Welcome to the Wisconsin Alumni Club of Austin
Winners of 2009-2010 WAA - Austin Area Scholarships
1. Abraham Spindel (Frosh) Abraham is a graduate of the
Liberal Arts and Science Academy of Austin and has enrolled in
the mechanical engineering program at UW.
2. Joshua Smith (Frosh) Josh graduated from Austin High and
plans to major in electrical engineering
3. Zoe Berg (Sophomore) Zoe was awarded a scholarship
last year and posted an impressive 3.78 GPA her freshman year
at UW.
4. Andrew Streif (Sophomore) Andy is a first time scholarship
winner and is a member of the UW Fishing Team.
5. Emily Booth (Junior) Emily has won scholarships her first
three years at UW and is pursuing a civil engineering degree.
6. Carol Morse (Senior) Carol is a three time scholarship
winner who returns to UW after a study abroad program in Latin
America.
