How to Volunteer with the Wisconsin Alumni Club of Austin

New to Austin? Been in Austin a while? Well, good news the Austin Badgers are hiring!
All positions with the Chapter are volunteer positions, so any extra time you have to help
is very much appreciated. We constantly looking for people to help out in any capacity.
Below you can see the different levels of involvement, but we can help find the right role
for you. Please contact us for more information.
Volunteer Levels of Involvement:
Low Level:
- Donate to Scholarship Program
- Wear your UW Badger gear
- Help setup, decorate, or clean up at an event
- Attend an event
- Work event check in and registration
- Compile event evaluations
Medium Level:
- Assist in securing event donations and sponsors
- Serve as event photographer
- Store chapter equipment and supplies
- Donate professional services
- Plan a happy hour
- Become a Badger Career Network volunteer
High Level:
- Serve on a Planning Committee for an event, program, or other
- Serve as Chapter Officer (President, Treasurer, etc.)
- Coordinate Chapter Newsletter
- Work with WAA to design a poster, flyer, or logo
- Mentor young alumni
- Compile and maintain list of community resources
- Serve as program presenter
